Choosing flooring options for the garage

Tiles are the most common garage floor covering. Garage floor tiles usually come in 12" x 12" or 24" x 24" sizes and snap together.

Advantage:
The greatest advantage for using garage floor tiles is the ability to lay down the tiles in a decorative design like that of a checkered floor tile pattern. Coverings can be applied over cracked or stained concrete floors, but keep in mind that extensive concrete cracking could disrupt the tiles and cause them to bubble up over time.

Disadvantage:
Floor tiles are more expensive than garage floor coatings.

Installation:
Their installation is quick and easy. Other than engineered wood tiles, the other suggested materials are simple to cut to fit the space. It is important to plan the number of tiles needed in order to reduce the number of tiles that will need to be cut. There are many color and pattern options available when choosing tiles.
